7 Essential Plug-In Your Blog Need

Plug-In Is good, It allows you to extend your blog functionality. Not only that, plug-in can also help you securing your blog, and so many benefits that you might know.

But nothing have advantages that doesn’t have disadvantages.

All am saying is that plug-in also have their own disadvantages. Am not going to talk much about that in this post.

But, am going to discuss how having too much plug-in can affect your blog, and how to choose the necessary one for your blog.

I understand you want your blog to stand out, so, you install many plug-in to increase your blog functionlality.

But do you known that intalling so many plug-in may make your blog stand out among others. When i said stand out i mean BAD STAND OUT.

Having too many plug-in on blog can cause this following problem for your blog:

Crashing of your blog

Having too many plugin can make your blog crash in no time.

Especially, if those plug-ins are made from a different developer, having too many plug-ins made from a different developer might result to conflict between those plug-in.

And if that happens, some of your plug-ins will stop working, some doing what they should not be doing like, A plugin that supposes to protect your blog might stop working and a plugin that supposes to make a share button appear on your bog may be showing unrecognize code.

And those may make a blog crash.

Blog Performance

Having too many plug-in on your blog can make your blog performance *suck.* It will decrease the loading speed of your blog. and that is not seo friend.

It will also chase visitors away from your blog, and I guess you won’t like that.


This is Serious, like i said above the conflicts between too many plug-in can make some plug-in to misbehave or stop working.

A plugin that suppose to backup your blog may be the one that share you blog log-in details to those that are not duppose to access it.

To make sure that you dont fall victim of any of those those problem I mention above you have to limit your those plugin you use.

I can’t state a particular amount of plugin you should have on your blog because of blog niche. Sometime, your blog niche determined the amount of plugin you will have on your blog.

The amout of plugin a Lifestyle blog will need is different from plugin a self development blog will need.

But whether you blog about food and recipe or your blog about traveling, there are some necessary plugin you need to install.

Those plugin will make your blog stand out without giving you problem.

Yoast SEO is a plugin that guides you while your are writting your blog post, so you will write content that is SEO friendly. What is great about this plugin is that it will tell you where you did great and where you should do better and what you can do to make it better.

Althouth, this plugin have a premium plan that perform a lot of activities to make your blog SEO friendly.

But, the free version do a pretty good job.

2. Shareaholic

Boost your blog traffic by installing shareholic plugin to make your post shareable.

Shareaholic will give you access to customize the social icon even decide which social icon you want.

jQuery is a plugin that allow your visitor to pin your blog image to their pinterest board, its like sharing your blog post to pinterest.

Which will provide more traffic to your blog, because those people that follow the visitor that pin your post will be able to see your pin and visit your blog post through it.

4. Elementor

Design your landing page with elementor.

Elementor is a great plugin to design your blog page.

Especially your landing page and your home page. Elementor is the plugin that I use to design this blog home page.

Althoug it has a pro version (Paid Version), But the free version still do a great job.

Am using the free version one, and if you visit my homepage you will know what am talking about.

Whith this plugin your blog will stand out when it comes to the design, even among those blog that use the themes as yours.

It’s easy to use and easy to navigate. Not only you can use this plugin to design your page but you can use it to write and design your blog post.

5. Insert Headers And Footers

This plugin is awesome, I love t so much.

It’s a plugin you must have, It’s a plugin that allows you to add code to your blog header or footer code like Advertisement code, Adsense verification code Social media(Pinterest, Facebook e.t.c) verification code.

With this need multiple plugin to insert code to your blog. It’s this the same plugin I use to verify my blog on Google Analytics.

6. Smush

Optimize, optimise and resize your blog image with smush plugin.

You want to optimise, optimize or you want to resize your blog image, Smush is the best plugin for your to do that.

It’s easy to use. It’s even awarded as the crowd favorite image optimization plugin for WordPress.

With smush you will be able to do almost everything with your blog image, even those images that are not in your media library.

Installing plugin on wordpress is simple and very easy.

At first go to your wordpress dashboard and locate plugin at the left side bar of your screen.

Click the plugin icon and select add new

You can scroll down and go through the available plugin or you can just for the plugin by entering the plugin name in the search bar.

After you have located the plugin click instal then wait for some seconds, depending on the size of the plugin and the speed of your internet connection.

After it has been install click activate, That’s all.
